About IPinfoLabs

A private window into your public connection

IPinfoLabs is a client-side IP lookup tool for anyone asking what is my IP or what is my IP address. It shows your public IP address, approximate IP location, ISP details, and device information as soon as the dashboard loads.

There are no accounts and no server-side storage of lookup results. You can check IP for your own connection, look up another public IPv4 or IPv6 address, and export a report—all from one page.

Mission

Clear IP context—without owning your data

A client-side public IP lookup utility to detect your connection, run an IP address lookup, and export an IP information report. No accounts. No backend profiles.

Who it is for: people verifying a VPN or proxy exit, learners exploring networking basics, and anyone who needs a readable snapshot of public IP address, ISP, and approximate IP location without signing up. Open the FAQ for concise answers, or the glossary for term definitions.

How it works

From detection to export

See your public IP address, review network and device details, then export—three steps from check IP to a shareable report.

  1. 01

    Detect your connection

Your public IP address, approximate IP location, and browser information load automatically so you can answer “what is my IP?” without signup.

  2. 02

    Review the dashboard

ISP details, device information, operating system, and timezone appear in one readable view—alongside network context for the current address.

  3. 03

    Lookup or export

Run an IP address lookup for another IPv4 or IPv6 address, then export a PDF or text report generated locally in your browser.

IP location

Why approximate location is shown

IP geolocation estimates where an address is registered or commonly routed—not your GPS position.

When you ask “where is my IP?”, the answer is usually a city or region tied to network data. A VPN or proxy can change both the visible public IP address and the apparent IP location. IPinfoLabs presents location as approximate so the dashboard stays honest about accuracy limits.

Use location for regional context—confirming a tunnel exit or understanding ISP geography—not as a precise street-level map.

Architecture

Client-side by design

Signals are assembled in the browser into a readable dashboard. Lookups and exports are not stored as server-side user history.

Privacy approach: theme preference may stay in local storage on your device. Public IP address checks, IP lookup results, and exported reports are produced for your session—not kept as an IPinfoLabs account profile. Prefer a direct path to the IP lookup tool or review the Privacy policy for policy detail.
